Magic Happens Rabbit Rescue

 

One of my other passions lies in the animal rescue community. I volunteer and help out animal rescues whenever I can, but I primarily work with Magic Happens. I've had rabbits in my life since I was a child, and I'm not surprised that I fell into rabbit rescue. Many people don't know that rabbits can make great indoor pets with the right set up and knowledge on their care, upkeep, and of course, bunny proofing your home. Below are some facts about MHRR and rabbits, as well as information on how to contact us, and more. 

 

DID YOU KNOW?

• Domesticated rabbits are the THIRD most abandoned or surrendered animals in the country.

• MHRR has found good homes for over a thousand pet rabbits in the last ten years

• Rabbits make excellent pets, can be litter box trained, and can live up to ten years if kept inside.

• MHRR actively participates in local rescue events and community outreach programs to educate the community about rabbit ownership and care.

• MHRR is a 501 (3) (c) organization relying on donations, grants, and fundraising events to support our efforts.
