I go by Jenny Dawn in most aspects of my life. It’s the shortened version of my first name plus my middle name. I dislike my surname so much that I don’t use it if I don’t have to. I’m not real fond of my first name either.

I’m a self-proclaimed name snob, and I blog about it. 

I prefer life outside the box of the norm. 

I work part time at a movie theater where I get to indulge in my love for movies.

I’m the mom of four furry children: Lola Bunny the designer canine, Ash and Venom the Manx felines, and Kalona the lion-lop rabbit. All are rescues.

I have two Eastern Tiger Salamanders named after the Chthonia twins in TMC, Emery and Jade. My other salamander, Nessie, died on 8/19/15.  Even a little salamander can break my heart. 

I usually have an MHRR foster rabbit under my care. I love bunnies!

I have been obsessed with vampires since I watched Once Bitten when I was five years old, and I started collecting vampire related things when I was a teenager. My collection is now massive with 278 (and growing) books, movies, TV Shows, posters, collectable figures, shirts, and various other odds and ends that includes cups, games, salt and pepper shakers, a Dracula ink pen, a bottle of True Blood soda, and a Dracula Untold movie theater cardboard display. I’ve seen four different Cirque Du Soleil shows, the Blue Man Group, a British Pantomime in London, three shows from the Reduced Shakespeare Company, and Spamalot.

I love art of every sort: writing, painting, pottery, tattoo, photography, performing arts, you name it. 

Shiny, colorful, and flashy things attract me like a Magpie.
